Stiftung Buechweid

Online presence for a “temporary home”

The Buechweid Foundation supports children and teenagers with behavioral problems and educational needs. It offers a “temporary home” in Russikon if their circumstances require it. Heads has updated the institution’s website.

Warmth. Growth. Paths.

In 2006, Heads developed the Foundation’s look and feel, redesigned the website, and reduced the services offered to a simple claim: “Warmth. Growth. Paths.” While “look and feel” and claim still reflect the institution, it was time to modernize the website.

Delicately portrayed

The new online presence conveys that children and young people at Buechweid can develop their self-confidence in a safe space and are trained for a life of maximum independence. Photos of the children and teenagers are an important element of the online communication. Photographer Günter Bolzern has sensitively portrayed them in the school and living environment of Buechweid.

Faster and more intuitive

Of course, the website has also been functionally improved. It is now faster and more intuitive. The two target groups “referring institutions” and “parents and relatives” can quickly find the information relevant to them. The website offers a comprehensive picture of Buechweid and various ways to find out more about the opportunities the institution is offering.
