End of the closure of Zurich’s museums
Zurich’s museums are finally opening their doors again. Heads was commissioned by the Zürcher Museumsverein to communicate the reopening after the closure. In the coming days, the motifs will appear in the Tages-Anzeiger and the NZZ, on Zurich’s cultural billboards and on social media.
A study published on 7 May by the Tages-Anzeiger and the GDi Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute shows how important culture is to the population: meeting friends and relatives is missed the most (81%), but cultural events are missed the second most (50%). So it’s a good thing that the first museums are opening their doors next Monday.
Soon, more will follow from the agency for the Association of Zurich Museums: in a pitch for the new image, Heads Corporate Branding came out on top. The new image will be unveiled in the summer. The new look is intended to appeal not only to the museum’s many regular visitors, but also to a younger audience, which is currently more likely to find it’s way into the exhibition rooms during the successful “Lange Nacht der Museen”.
