Rebranding of the ZFV cooperative
Heads Corporate Branding advised and supported the ZFV cooperative in a comprehensive rebranding process – from analysis and brand strategy to implementation in language, design, and imagery. The new brand identity positions ZFV as a responsible, socially relevant cooperative with a clear stance and long-term perspective.
The new brand strategy anchors ZFV as a living ecosystem that connects people, companies, and ideas and creates effective experiences. This orientation not only gives the brand greater appeal, but also more clout in communication and on the labor market.
Strengthened umbrella brand
“The rebranding focused on building a strong, overarching umbrella brand. It gives the ZFV cooperative, as a socially effective designer, a clear, authentic, and forward-looking identity – visible across all business areas,” says Simone Raubach, Strategy Lead and Project Manager, Heads.
Brand experience makes strategy comprehensible
With the claim “Good does good,” the brand sums up its attitude: impact is created through the interaction between people, organizations, and ideas. The claim works across all areas of activity—from gastronomy to childcare, from boutique hotels to strategic partnerships—and creates orientation and identification both internally and externally.
The new visual world translates ZFV’s values into a powerful visual language. It shows real people in real moments – approachable, lively and deliberately surprising. This makes the brand’s impact emotionally tangible and visually distinctive.
“Design must make the strategy visible – with clarity and expressiveness. This is exactly what ZFV’s new brand identity achieves,” emphasizes Marco Simonetti, Creative Director at Heads. The new identity makes visible what ZFV stands for: courage, responsibility, and community.
“High Functionality and Flexibility”
Nathalie Lüthi, CMO ZFV, is convinced: “The new brand identity works. Because it is emotional, authentic, and appeals to employees, customers, and partners alike. Heads has understood perfectly that the future has its origins in the past. The design is impressive not least because of its high functionality and flexibility.”
