Naming and Branding for the Future Mobility Forum (FMF)

On September 10, 2024, the Future Mobility Forum (FMF) was officially launched with its first event. Organized by AMAG in collaboration with the Institute for Mobility at the University of St. Gallen, it is dedicated to the topics of sustainable mobility and energy. This newly created platform aims to unite key players across politics, administration, business, and research, providing them with a space for active exchange and inspiration.

A Memorable Name

The forum stands out by making multimodal, future-oriented mobility tangible, blending an exciting mix of theory and practical experience, while actively engaging guests in the event. Heads developed the name „Future Mobility Forum“ to succinctly capture the platform’s focus and highlight its forward-thinking themes. The acronym „FMF“ reflects the platform’s dynamic nature and enhances its memorability.

Innovation is Movement

The design reflects the idea that the future of mobility is constantly evolving. The platform’s goal of promoting active exchange between key players in the mobility sector is mirrored in the design concept. The black background can be interpreted as a nighttime urban space seen from a bird’s-eye view and as a surface where various mobility actors within a complex system collaborate efficiently, or where even competitors, through coopetition, can move forward together.
