Expertise and Passion for Wood
The Emmental-based company deligno ag, which evolved from a variety of specialized and established sawmill businesses, is currently investing in innovative production methods and technologies to enhance quality in a resource-efficient way. At the same time, the company’s corporate identity is being elevated to a new level. Heads Corporate Branding has strengthened both the company’s positioning and its appeal as an employer, crafting a modern and distinctive brand identity. The new corporate design conveys the passion that deligno ag combines with expertise—a tribute to wood as a renewable, climate-neutral natural product and the people who work with it.
A Design That Resonates
The striking logo visualizes the origin of wood and its processing, symbolizing the company’s continuous growth through the integration of diverse skills and businesses. This focus on growth also extends to the employees: “Shaping and growing with wood” is the company’s new employer value proposition.
The logo and corporate typeface “Roca” emphasize the brand’s groundedness and approachability. The harmonious color palette draws on the natural beauty of wood, combining walnut brown and pine green with a bold “deligno orange” accent, which reflects the freshness of sawn timber.
Imagery That Speaks Volumes
A central element of the rebranding is the visual concept, which highlights the emotional journey of wood—from its origins in the forest to the skilled hands that extract its full potential, and finally to the finished product used in various applications. The imagery provides an authentic glimpse into the working environment of deligno ag, placing the focus on the professionals behind the process. This gives the brand a vibrant and human identity that sets it apart. To enhance recognition, an open rectangular frame directs attention to products or individuals, serving as a distinctive design feature.
Communication for an Innovative Product
In tandem with the rebranding rollout, deligno ag launched a groundbreaking surface technology and the eco-friendly varnish EcoFix. Heads supported the product launch from naming development to the implementation of communication measures. Materials such as newsletters, brochures, sample boxes, and product presentations were created for this Swiss innovation. On the day of the product introduction, customers and media were also presented with the new website featuring optimized user navigation and updated design. The new website, deligno.ch, brings the company’s positioning and redesign to life.
