Branding for the Balgrist Golf Institute

Balgrist University Hospital is expanding its services to include an innovative golf institute that combines top medical expertise with a health-oriented approach to performance. Heads developed the brand positioning and created a modern, distinctive design. It conveys the symbiosis of medical precision and sporting performance.

“Precision. Prevention. Performance.”

The brand slogan “Precision. Prevention. Performance.”, also developed by Heads, expresses the institute’s high standards and unique selling point. It is complemented by the sales slogan “Golf Performance. Beyond Limits.”, which promotes the holistic golf assessment designed to improve the performance of ambitious golfers in the long term.

An appearance that radiates performance.

The Golf Institute has a unique visual identity that perfectly conveys its commitment to medical excellence and sporting achievement. Alongside the distinctive “Balgrist Green”, the colour scheme incorporates various shades of green and dynamic colour gradients. The central design element, an implied arch, represents the trajectory of a golf ball and resembles a digital performance scale. The bar in the arc has not quite reached its maximum, thus symbolizing the striving for more. A circular signet reinforces brand visibility. The imagery also deliberately breaks with classic golf clichés. Real, focused movements are shown – from the fields of medicine, athletics, mental training and nutrition. The bright, minimalist aesthetic emphasizes modernity and excellence, drawing attention to the essentials: individual performance.
